Treats, Smiles & Good Times
Sweet 16 Ice Cream was the brainchild of 16 year old Lauren Prenaveau when her mother told her she needed to get a job. Lauren developed a business plan, created a logo, came up with the name and designed the trailer on her own. Lauren’s primary goal was to make people smile, thus was born “Driving Miles Delivering Smiles.” Launched in 2020, Sweet 16 became an instant success and Lauren was able to pay off all of her startup loans in the first year despite starting a new company just as covid changed the way we live.
After running Sweet 16 Ice Cream successfully for 2 years, Lauren was off to college and sold the business to her brother Charles. He added his own creative touches and has continued to expand to more communities and events.
Sweet 16 is now serving Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth Counties and can often be seen at school events, athletic competitions, religious events, birthday parties and even weddings.
